new year, new things to celebrate //

happy new year's eve! 2015, i am waiting for ya. 

i hope everyone's year was as good or better than mine had been.

i'm crossing my fingers for this year to be 

ONE of the best years of my life..... we shall see.

i know there are tons of things to look forward to, 

internship, graduation = new opportunities. 

it is so refreshing to be starting a new year. 

yes, it does seem to be flying by,

(each year faster than the previous) 

but it just means that i'm growing up, and journeying 

my way through life's struggles and life's many great joys. 

i cannot wait to share the great things i have planned for this blog to expand and grow into something you will enjoy even more. it is my passion to let you see my inspirations and a peek of what I am working on within the fashion industry. 

i am overwhelmed with excitement!!! Can you not tell??

my muse // la frontera-- the border

i'm not leaving for mexico at the beginning of the new year, 

like i anticipated, and it was a much needed break; 

from school, from work, from life. 

i think i'm allowed one good break from my world, right?

there's not enough words to describe 

how it feels to be standing in the middle of nowhere. 

hardly no phone service, no internet, 

and to my despair, no hot water. 

It makes me feel like i'm a child again. 

No worries, nothing but happiness and carefree.

triangles are a sacred shape.

i have found this black onyx ring, 

and yes it may be $325, 

but it looks well worth every penny. 

It has a dark, yet elegant style. 

It is said to be a reflection of grief and stress,

which we can relate to at some point/

from a bridesmaid in a red lace dress 

to a mariachi band dressed in traditional wear, 

this is my dream wedding.

 a  blood red or summer orange are not usually my go to colors,

but something about these are bold, passionate + sensual; 

which make for a perfect wedding color palette.

i want that deep rooted mexican feel

 that i am so deeply in love with: 

from tacos to china crafted from mexico. 

i am that romantic girl who plans and dreams 

of her wedding day years before it will happen

 because i believe that will be one of the greatest 

and most memorable moment that I will share with 

my other half and with our families //
